I have recently read the story of Griffin and Zoe, two beloved dogs whose owners had to flee New Orleans. The dogs were at the Audubon Veterinary Hospital and while it had been widely reported that all animals from that facility had been rescued, in fact, two were left to perish.
Can someone tell me how all but two dogs were rescued? How the owners, who searched and searched, were led astray?
This is unconcscionable. I hope that the donations I have been making towards animal rescue include all animals, regardless of breed.
